Kermit the Frog is a prominent Muppet character, being featured as the protagonist in multiple Muppet productions, notably Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.
Kermit is well-known for his iconic look and voice, the latter of which is usually impersonated by Joel. Joel's father is usually portrayed as Kermit the Frog by fan artists, due to the fact that he sounded like Kermit, as mentioned in Joel's Half-Life 2: Episode One stream.
Kermit appears in Joel's streams as a joke character. In The Sims 3 featuring the Violence and Aggression mod, Joel creates (an abomination of) Kermit, who later goes on a rampage murdering random Sims and punching children.
