Mayor Vine is the name retroactively given to Vinny's playthrough of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. He began streaming the game shortly after its release in June 2013, chronicling the tales of Mayor Vine in the town of Vineland. After several months of streaming, he abandoned his playthrough for two years, during which he streamed Tomodachi Life.
Vinny revisited the game in late 2015, before restarting the series in late 2016 after the Welcome Amiibo update. He opted to sell Vineland and started anew with a new town called Da Burbs.
